I will be a sunbeam
In darkness deep, where shadows cloud the day
I long to break free from this unseen bind
To cast the darkness, chase the gloom away
And be a sunbeam bright and warm and kind
I'll pierce the clouds, with golden light so pure
I'll dance upon the earth, in bold display
I'll spread my warmth, my energy endure
And brighten up the world in my own way
I'll be a beacon in the darkest night
A spark of hope, a ray of shining grace
I'll be a sunbeam, shining clear and bright
And light the path for others to embrace
So let me shine, let me ignite the flame
For I will be a sunbeam, all the same.
