Wilfred- “Vassal”

In the kingdom of shadows, I reside
A vassal to darkness, a servant to pride
My heart weighed down by chains of despair
In the castle of solitude, I find my solace there
But though I am bound by the shackles of night
I still harbor a spark, a glimmer of light
A rebel in the depths of my own inner storm
A warrior of hope, in a world so forlorn
So here I stand, a vassal to fate
But with every heartbeat, I defy my state
For even in darkness, I'll find my release
And as a phoenix rises, my soul finds its peace.
